- Manchester International Airport - 35 miles / 40 minutes
- Liverpool John Lennon Airport - 28 miles / 45 minutes
Arriving by train
Chester Station is 5 miles away, and has taxi services directly outside the station. Cotton Farm is not easily reached from the station by public transport.
Directions from North or South
- Take the M6 from north or south.
- Leave M6 at J20 for the M56 (Westbound), following signs for Chester and North Wales.
- Stay on M56 for 17 miles, and leave at J15 for the M53 (Southbound), following signs for Chester.
- The M53 turns into the A55 at the first junction - it's still a dual carriageway, so you won't notice much difference. Stay on the A55 and leave at the next junction, taking the A51 and following signs for Nantwich, Tarvin and Tarporley - you need to take the 1st exit at the junction.
- The A51 is a straight road out of Chester. After you pass Vicars Cross Golf Club on the left hand side, look out for a right turn into Cotton Lane, signposted 'Cotton Edmunds' - it will be the second turning after the golf club.
- Follow Cotton Lane for just over a mile - turn left into Platts Lane, just as Cotton Lane turns sharply to the right. Our drive is the second turning to the right on Platts Lane.
Directions from Wales
- Take the A55 (Eastbound), following signs for Chester & M6.
- Leave A55 taking the A51 away from Chester and following signs for Nantwich, Tarvin and Tarporley - you need to take the 3rd exit.
- The A51 is a straight road out of Chester. After you pass Vicars Cross Golf Club on the left hand side, look out for a right turn into Cotton Lane, signposted 'Cotton Edmunds' - it will be the second turning after the golf club.
